After years of working correctly, my Vanguard money market fund share values are changing in Quicken every couple of days. The next day, a correction is made. Why is this happening? If we're lucky, the share value of MMF's is always $1. Any answer will be appreciated.

Same problem. Vanguard Money Market Fund (VMMXX) has been unreliable for about a week. After a price update, current day's price is always correct ($1) and previous 6 entries are always incorrect. Tomorrow the corrupted values will all shift by one day.

This same type of problem happened a couple months ago (with different securities) and eventually was corrected. Here we are again.

As I have posted numerous times in various threads:

Edit the prices for your money market accounts to show $1 per share.

INVESTING > PORTFOLIO > select your MMF > double click > UPDATE > EDIT PRICE HISTORY.

Change all wayward prices to $1 per share, or just delete the wayward prices.

To avoid this in the future, ONE STEP UPDATE > Select Quicken.com data to update > QUOTES tab > uncheck your MMF security(ies).

Now, when you download prices, your MMF will NOT be updated and will NOT have the incorrect price.  Since it is always $1 per share, you don't need to have Quicken update this share price.

    That's not the point.

The point is there is a fix to use temporarily, until Quicken finally gets this fixed once and for all....approximately December 15.

So, stop complaining...a permanent fix is on the way and in the meantime you have a temporary workaround.
