Quicken Community: Can Quicken Online and Desktop coexist

Can quicken online and desktop coexist?

I'd like to use online just to be able to check consolodated balances quickly on the go, but stick with my quicken 2008 premier at home to manage my 401k etc.

So my question is, when quicken online does its thing to pull transactions for the day, when i go home and sync my windows software, will it miss transactions because they got pulled to online instead?

I'm not sure if the synching is based on a 'per account' basis or if having two clients wont affect each other.

Thanks
