Dating back to DOS of 1-6-06.<br><br>I just got an explanation today as to why: Medicare is recalculating the amount allowed (which effects the supplemental payments and the patient responsibility).<br><br>I got a bill from a provider for $0.71 (yes, seventy one cents) and called them to see if they reeeely wanted to process a 71 cent check. The nice lady gave me the explanation and said &quot;Ignore it, we've written it off.
