The forum is in the process of moving to a completely self-contained email system, in which all of the email sent to and from forum users can be read and responded to in the forum itself. Until this is instated, you may find that you have problems with the internal email system--please be patient, and I'll let you know as soon as these changes have taken full effect. Thanks--

The new forum email system has been completed. As before, you can click on the username of the person you would like to send a message to--you write your message as before. However, instead of going to their personal email box, the message will remain in the forum system. There will be a small envelope next to the welcome message when you log in. Click on the envelope, and it will lead you to your new mail. To access older messages, click on your own name, and then click the "messages" link above your user profile.

Around Dec 2007, I suddenly realized the data on my hard drive had somehow gone back as far as 2005. I first ordered the very, very basic 2008. Tried that for awhile but didn't like it. About 3 mo ago I paid for QUICKEN DELUXE 2008. Paid w/credit card and downloaded the software. Failed to order the same software on a CD. Today I found data on Dr C: is fine. However, backups on Dr G: external drive are screwed up. I normally backup several times a week, and I immediately check Dr G: afterward to assure myself the 3 files have the current date. Tonite, on the external drive, one backup shows 11/12/2007; 3 more show backup 4/16/2005; and 20 or more show 3/15/2005. Had the same problem w/QUICKEN 2008 BASIC. Downloaded fine but I didn't like that version of QUICKEN. Almost immediately I had the same problem but on C: AND external Drive G:. Can someone explain to me what has happened? Bug(s) in software is my firm belief... Please prove me wrong!
