This post is about:
Quicken Home & Business 2007
I've been using Quicken for over 15 years. I started using Quicken as a single person, and it helped me purchase my first house, plan for an investment house, and manage all of my portfolios.
Using the tools within Quicken, it also helped me plan to buy a ring, pay for my own wedding and honeymoon, and ultimately for the children that would come.
So, Quicken helped me as my life, income, and assets soared upwards and it was fun watching the numbers go up and up, and playing with those numebrs to spend, invest and plan appropriately.
But, as life often does, things take down-turns. After I lost my job, and struggled to find something new, and then my wife got very sick, I used Quicken in a very new way. I used it to manage and plan and ensure that we would not go into financial ruin. Through the reporting, planning, and information in Quicken, I was able to survive 3 years of negative income and keep my house, pay medical bills, and come out the other end of a dark time in my life.
As I use Quicken over the past few years, I've been using it to help re-build my financial future, start a side business, and plan for all of the future events that will come my way.
I store EVERY penny of movement within Quicken, and while some might see that as obsessive, it is clearly the only way I would have gotten to where I am today - and how I could have survived the financial battles that life has thrown me.
Quicken allows you incredible insight into your financial picture - a picture that has dollars spread out over many institutions. I honestly do not undersdtand how anyone survives without a financial package like Quicken.
