I'm having difficulty getting the correct numbers for out of network providers. The example is a lab test, provided by an out of network lab. I pay the entire cost up front ($295). Insurance allows $160.00, my copay is $56, and insurance sends me a check for $104.00. So my actual responsiblity, and my actual out of pocket expense is $191.00. QMEM keeps telling me that the provider now owes me $135.00, which is incorrect. I've read the help section on how to enter out of network expenses, and I cannot get this to work.

Any ideas?

Chris

I think In Network is the default, and you must uncheck it each time (but I'm not sure of this.)

Yes, it seems that 'in network' is the default setting. I've been going through all of my entries, and 'in network' is uniformly checked for all of them.

It seems to me that a provider is always either 'in network' or not. Couldn't QMEM allow us to set this in the Provider Contact section?
