I am a father of a child with chronic lung disease and have become reliant on the computer to keep medical records strait. I am very frustrated with data entry issues however. I have chanced upon a piece of software which should allow me to scan an EOB or bill and capture relevent information allowing me to place it into a database more easily. Unfortunately it does not appear that I could do so with this quicken produsct. Any discussion regarding my plans?

Not sure if this is what your looking for but with Quicken you can scan documents, checks, etc. into a registry entry.
If you right click in the box below the date field there is a choice called Attachments.
This will also you to scan a document into the registry entry.

Rich, you are exactly correct. However, there seems to be no way to scan directly into QMM. I have attempted to "cut and paste" but that won't happen either.
It would be helpful to have the mechanics / ability to scan bills, EOB ,etc straight into QMM not unlike can be done in Quicken
