How about a future feature of when setting a Reminder for a prescription, QMEM could link to the Drug List to choose the Rx that needs to be refilled and display that with the reminder? Maybe a drop-list of the Drug List when the check for "This is a prescription refill reminder" is checked.
I would also like to see the system have an incremental setting for reminders so that they could be set to once a month, every two weeks, etc and one could "check off" the reminder and have a new reminder automatically set for the next refill date. How about it? Does anyone else think that this would be a good idea?
This could also be used for some appointments such as annual physicals.

I usually just put the name of the Rx in the subject of the reminder, but I really like the idea. That way, if a generic becomes available for a brand-name drug that you are currently taking, you change the name in the Drug List and your reminder text updates. Very neat.

I've always handled this by just changing the date of the reminder for "Refill until" and periodic appointments. For "Refill x times", I change both the date and the subject, because my subjects contain a "y of x remaining" type count in them.
I can definately see the value in this, but for me it would be a pretty low priority since I have a fairly painless work-around.

Well, I'm just trying to think of ways to make the UI more automated and hopefully more user-friendly.

"changing the date of the reminder for "Refill until" - I'm not sure that I know what you mean by this. I can't find a "refill until" option in QMEM, so I assume that you have a manual means of doing this? Editing the subject line to include remaining refills is a nice work around. However, I still feel that QMEM should be able to more fully automate this process, but thanks for the tip Tony.

Sorry for not being clear. "Refill until" is a property of Rx's we sometime receive from our doctor. I don't have a way of tracking this in QMEM other than putting the end date of the Rx in the subject of the refill reminder. Since the end date for these Rxs don't change with each refill, I don't need to change the subject of the reminder at each refill; just the date for the next reminder.
