Does anyone know if there is a way to reset the "baseline" date for the totals line that shows below the log window? I'd like to run totals by plan year (7/1-6/30) and have figured out how to do that for the deductible but cannot for the logged expenses. Any ideas?

There is not a way in the Log Viewer to reset those totals. It shows the total based on the person selected.

Since this product just came out this year, I don't know if this will restart as of the calendar year or if it is just a running total of everything posted.

Have you tried the various reports available under the "Find & Reports" options to get at what you want to see. These allow you to specify a date range.

Hi Viper,

Good question. BeeJuL83 is right, MEM does not currently have the ability to run totals by plan year (or any date range) in the log. We have heard this request before and are weighing it against other potential enhancements for future versions of MEM.

In the meantime, you can use the Expense Calculator (located in Find & Reports) to get totals for any date range.

There's also an FAQ: <url=https://quickenmedical.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/quickenmedical.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=136&p_created=1106088421&p_sid=oOzIuHMh&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPSZwX3NvcnRfYnk9JnBfZ3JpZHNvcnQ9JnBfcm93X2NudD04OCZwX3Byb2RzPTMmcF9jYXRzPSZwX3B2PSZwX2N2PSZwX3BhZ2U9NA**&p_li=&p_topview=1>"How do I get expense totals?"</url>

I hope that helps! Please let me know if it does not.

Best Regards,

Hector

All: Thanks for the feedback. I'm one for ease and simplicity and appreciate the ability to run a report by specific plan year; however, it would seem more logical if the reports were used to get a more comprehensive summary (ie. spanning years) versus the current setup.

Appreciate the feedback.

Note: you can change the date range for the "total out of pocket" amount that appears at the top of the log. That's the total I care about, so I set that to be the current year. (just click on the amount that shows at top of the log)

Dan, thanks for the info on how to change the dates for the total out of pocket amount. I hadn't realized that you could click on it and get more information!!!
