When you installed, did you run it in compatability mode? I have successfully installed QMEM on Windows Vista Home Premium. I installed under compatability with Windows XP and I also specified run as administrator.

I copied my data file to the new computer and selected that file to open. It is working fine.

I have tried to install medical expense manager on my new laptop that has Windows Vista. I am unable to get the application to work at all. I have received no repsonse from Quicken support on how to fix this.

I am also having a problem with Vista and Quicken. I able to use Quicken Basic 2007 but I cannot back up my files to disk. I get a Quicken error message and the program shuts down.

Hey, for what its worth, try backing up to your desktop and then backing that up to a disk. That works for me.

Because of the size of my Quicken files, I gave up on baacking up to disks a long time ago. Have a Western Digital external hard disk drive--it works fast and furious and is big enough for all my files and programs. Small ones range from $60 on up depending on size and sales!!

This post is about: Quicken Medical Expense Manager V2 2008
I just downloaded QMEM V2 to a VISTA Home Premium X64 PC. I ignored the warning regarding .NET (since it already was on my system) and the install went fine.

I have just started to use the product, so I will probable be posting questions shortly.

My primary reason in using QMEM is to track Medicare activity, Medigap Coverage, MedicareRx coverage and Dental coverage.
