Quicken Medical Expense Manager V2 2006
Windows XP
I just loaded the software and I can't read the data entry lines, the lines overlap. Loading v2 didn't change things. I know there must be a way to make an adjustment. My other databases are fine. Quicken Premier has no problem. This suggests to me that any adjustment has to be within QMEM. Any suggestions?

Janice

Hi Janice,

I believe this is large fonts. But I do not believe we have enough information to really tell you what to do for sure. If you could do the following, it may help us better answer your question:

1 Take a screenshot of an area where things overlap

**EXTRA NOTE**Make sure that you don't capture any personally identifiable information**

Here is how you can do that:

- Open Quicken Medical Expense Manager (MEM)

- Get to a place where you can see the problem

- On your keyboard, press ALT + PRNT SCRN

The "Print Screen" button is located on the very top row, usually the third key from the right on a standard desktop keyboard

- Click Start > Programs > Accessories > Paint

- On the keyboard, press CTRL + V

- Click File > Save

- Name the file

- At the bottom, for "File Type," select JPEG.JPG

- Save it in a place you can find again, such as the Desktop or My Documents

- Click Save

Next, you can post the image here, so we can see exactly what you mean:

- Click Reply on my post

- When the page opens, click the button that says, "Attach Files"

- Click Browse, and locate the screen shot you just made

- Click "Attach Files" at the bottom when you are done

- Wait patiently while we diagnose your problem

Hi Jan-,

Is it possible your screen is on 1280 by 1024 resolution?

(To check, right-click on the desktop, then choose Properties and then Settings.)

It may be necessary to reduce the resolution to 1024x768.

And I congratulate you on your eyesight! ;-)

Regards,

Bruce

P.S. Another possibility is resolution combined with large or extra-large fonts, which you can check via right-clicking on the desktop, then clicking on Properties and then *Appearance*.
