Since I receive EOBs that include different date of service I have filed EOBs by date of EOB and not date of service. A field for "Date of EOB" would help find info for each service.

Might be helpful to some users. Would enter info if field was there but could also end up being data overload for me given the # of claims/EOBS that we manage each year.

I put EOB date in the notes section of specific claim. From our experience, DOS (date of service) is the most important item for both provider & insurance co. I've never been asked to look up something based on EOB date nor have I needed to look up that info. I can always get it online if necessary from our insurance provider too (Aetna).
