Quicken Medical Expense Manager V1 2006
Windows XP
I am a very long time Quicken user (since DOS), and had been looking for years (since 2000) for a good medical expense program, when QMEM was released. I purchased QMEM version 1 via download, and then downloaded upgrade to version 2. At this point I had NO back up copy of the program on CD/DVD. And the way the download works, I have been unable to burn a back up install version of the program. Very soon I (and others) will be unable to download the program due to the ending date coming up, set by Quicken. I tried to obtain a back up CD/DVD from Quicken, everyone was very nice, but for some reason everytime I got to the point when I gave "On-Line Support" my QST order number and said YES to being more than willing to pay for shipping ... the person helping me was no longer, and I had to start over with someone else. Kinda like dealing with the medical insurance companies, they hope you give up after awhile, which I did. But with downloading the update today, it just made me recall that I need the back up CD/DVD. CAN SOMEONE, ANYONE, PLEASE ADVISE IF THEY WERE ABLE TO OBTAIN A BACK UP CD/DVD, AND IF SO, PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU DID OR WHOM YOU DEALT WITH, SO THAT I CAN TRY WHAT YOU DID. PS: It would be really nice if they just offered a back up CD/DVD for sell for current registered users! That we can purchase online from the store, at least I think that would be easy!

I'd be happy to send you a CD. Please visit the following URL:

<url>https://quickenmedical.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/quickenmedical.cfg/php/enduser/home.php</url>

Click "Ask a question"

In the "Question" box, tell me you would like a CD to reinstall Quicken Medical Expense Manager (MEM).

I do require proof of purchase as well. So you may include your Intuit order number, or attached a scanned copy of your receipt if you purchased retails.

How do I get my order number?:

- Visit http://www.quickenmedical.com

- Click the "My Account" link on the top right, in the red area

- Login with your username and password

- Click Order History

Here, your order should be listed.

Hi folks,

Two more quick notes. The 3/31 deadline for downloading a V1->V2 upgrade via patch is a legal issue, outside the MEM team's control.

However, if you purchased MEM V1 on Quicken.com, your eStore account already has MEM V2 where you can download it again if you need to in the future, e.g. if your hard drive crashes.

Regards,

Bruce

Quicken Bruce,

Thanks very much for the clarification. I just checked and the download is right there under My Account >> My Downloads. This is a nice benefit for v1 purchasers and most appreciated. :-)
