Out of nowhere Quicken MEM will not open my most current .mem file and provides the above error message. The program opens older .mem files but not my most current onw (with tens of entries made in it!). I'm running 2.1.1.2 w/ XP Pro SP2, there's been no major issue w/ my computer since I last used the program. I need to recover this data, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Sorry.

Note that your problem, while it manifests in QMEM, is not necessarily OF QMEM ... it could just as well be a cross-linked file situation caused by Windows or by another application.

  • THINK IT THRU! Have you explained your issue so that someone who knows nothing about you, or YOUR Quicken setup, can understand what your issue is? Are you using standard Quicken terminology, particularly with respect to FILES, ACCOUNTS and CATEGORIES?
