How many of you who use V.2 of MEM get these quirky errors in the middle of entering data that pop up in a box which says: "Specified argument was out of the range of valid values. Parameter: row index" besides me? It prevents me from continuing what I was entering and I have to close the program. Fortunately, I do not seem to lose data. But it is becoming a royal pain.

I have extensive medical bills I used to track in a notebook in which I had columns for what I had to pay, my mileage, etc. When I found this program, I jumped for joy. I think it is wonderful, except for these quirks which have not been able to be duplicated when my real-time work was observed by remote viewing from tech support.

I understand there is a small group that has this same idiosyncracy. I'd like to know just how many of us there really are out there.

Negative acknowledgement.

Is there a particular screen that you are using when this happens?

What is your typical work-flow?

Were you a version 1 user, or did you start with version 2?

I'm asking because I'd like to start using your data entry procedure in my test file to see if I can get the problem to happen.

I also get this error message sporadically. There is no rhyme or reason to it, and I have to close the program to get rid of it. There are serious stability issues with this program, and I am disappointed that no updates have been provided to address there.

Yes, it is true that we cannot reproduce this issue. I am hopeful that the new patch will cause this issue to go away. I am currently testing the latest build and the release should be very soon. I know that sounds like a broken record to some of you to say "very soon", but it will happen. I promise.

I get this after entering a new transaction. Once you save it and the program tries to go to the next line item, this message appears. There is no way past it other than to close down QMEM. This jeopardizes the stability of the file. I was not a v1 user, and don't do anything out of the ordicary when entering my transactions.

I just purchased & installed QMEMv22 today and got this error. It happened when I entered a payment larger than what I owed for a given service date. Why did I do this?

I have one provider who bills periodically, so I have one payment that covers several service dates. QMEM generated this error repeatedly. I had to use the Task Manager to end QMEM and then reopen. (I did not lose data either.) I ended up breaking up total pmt equally over the service dates and entering the check num in each service date's reference field. I was just trying to see if I could enter one payment for multiple service dates.

IMNSHO, QMEM should check for out of range values and prompt the user to correct the amount.

Looks like a great product in the making, but QMEM is still young yet. :-)

    Regards,
    Margaret
