It looks like a number of people are using the Note field to place pertinent information within QMEM. Is there a Search function that will find info in the note field?

LanMan,

I don't think you can currently search in Notes. You're right - it's a really important feature to have.

I would like to see a full-text search like google has: just a single text box I can type anything into and it will find any expense that has that text in any field (including notes).

A google-like search like this would be:

- intuitive to users - everyone uses google

- really fast - it could be permanently visible/accessible

- a very flexible find for those looking for flexibility.

Sounds good to me, dan! Yes, I think that a search on the Note field is essential.
