Quicken Online showing pending balance, not cleared?

This post is about: Quicken Online
Recently, Quicken Online has been pulling my "pending balance" when it begins computing my real balance, but it doesn't automatically include my "pending transactions" that my BoA record reflects.

Because I have manually entered these into "Upcoming Transactions", waiting for them to clear, essentially the deductions are being counted twice, as they're being reflected in the "Pending balance" that it's pulling, and then from the manually entered 'upcoming transaction' I have put in.

Is this a bug that's currently being worked through? It didn't used to do this for me.

Same here! I'm seeing it pulled out of my Real Balance too, and not in cleared transactions.

Very confusing and doesn't help my fact I'm getting irritated due to a few other things with QO too!

+1 on this issue.

I posted a new thread on this issue because I couldn't remember if I was right in remembering that someone else had this issue-- and I appear to have replied. Sorry for new separate discussion.

I will give this a few days, and if nothing in the direction of a resolution comes from Quicken, then I'm going to have to leave the service unfortunately.

I'm having the same issue, but with my US Bank accounts. It scared me at first because I thought somehow I was about to bounce a lot of payments. But it's just that QO is pulling the "pending balance" number. Just like you say is happening to you. Any help with this issue?

Quicken Online is not "pulling the 'pending balance'" (the "available" balance): that is the balance that your financial institution is supplying to Quicken Online.

There is nothing that QO can do about that: call your financial institution and convince them to send the "cleared" balance.

I'm fairly certain the financial institutions do not make pended transactions available for downoad ... and that is probably the correct approach.

But if they are only sending "cleared" transactions, they should also be sending the "cleared" balance.  The "available" balance is nice to know, but not in place of the "cleared" balance.

Actually, Mint.com does pull pending transactions. However, you can't add upcoming transactions like you can in QO. If Mint.com can pull them I would think QO could figure out a way to do it as well.
