None of my accounts are updating automatically.
Having to click each account and then click refresh is way too time consuming. We could just log into each account outside the Quicken application.
The "Help" section states:
"You shouldn't have to refresh an account yourself (unless it's a Wells Fargo account). Every day, we get the transactions that your bank made available the night before. But occasionally, an account won't update for a variety of reasons."
What are the plans for Quicken to correct this problem?
I hadn't thought about the TurboTax load taking priority, but I agree.
What is the $3/month option? It would be nice if they would just put a "Refresh All" button on our homepage.
I have given Quicken some time, pointed out major issues, etc, but look at this, no reply to these threads, no priority. This is our money. It's not easy to keep switching around to other financial managers because of little stupid issues. I'm done with this.
Great example: Quicken "writes off" an issue with pending transactions being calculated out of the balance but not showing transactions in the register. However, it's not the banks. Buxfer, Mint, Microsoft, -- all easily don't include pending transactions in the balance. Is it that hard? Maybe since I'm a developer myself I don't have as much patience with QO right now.
Good news - we are currently investigating putting a refresh-all button on the homepage. In general, it shouldn't be necessary, as we try to do behind-the-scenes refreshing on a nightly basis.
Oh, and TurboTax and QuickenOnline are not competing for the same resources (neither personnel nor servers).

I am having a similar problem, but none of my accounts will refresh at all. I've had this problem before, and contacted Intuit, and it worked for a while, but I haven't been able to do a refresh since March 5. This is very frustrating as I have put all my information in here and come to depend on this product.
I wouldn't mind paying a small monthly fee if it would allow the developers more revenue to fix these problems.

I have not seen a cleared transaction since May 4. I refresh and search for cleared transaction but nothing happens. My balance is correct however my cleared transactions will not show up. Help
I am using Quicken Online Mobile on my iphone. Since I installed it last week, it has not updated my Bank Account (it is not Wells Fargo). There is no place I can see on this iphone application to refresh the acct., that I can see. I was able to se it updated on quicken online on the web, but not on quicken online mobile on my iphone.It has not updated my bank account info. since may 23rd.

Still e-mailing back and forth. Yesterday I received an e-mail saying my "incident report" was closed! They say they've referred me to the Online Banking department, but they haven't communicated with me. This is TOO frustrating!
Do you know why Wachovia account transaction won't update since 6/23. They did before that date, but dozens of transactions are cleared & won't update.
It knid of makes the whole budget & trends useless.

I just signed up for a Quicken Online account last night based on the marketing pitch that Intuit put together on their web-site. However, none of my Wachovia accounts is retrieving transactions. The balances show, but not the transactions. I have e-mailed Intuit, but won't get a response for 2 business days.
This does not bode well for my "try before you buy" approach. I was seriously considering purchasing the desktop application, but wanted to evaluate the Quicken Online application to get a feel for what I might expect. For now, I am forced to go to the settings link in the upper right hand portion of the screen, and then use the "Find Missing Transactions" function to force the system to retrieve the transactions from my bank accounts. I am willing to do this for a short period until the automatic updates are working, but would really appreciate a post from someone at Quicken with an ETA for when this problem will be resolved.
I've been trying out the program for about a week now and was really excited about the features, but my Quicken account is way behind my actual bank account, which totally defeats the purpose. If I can't trust that Quicken will have a completely up-to-date balance available, why would I continue to use it? I really WANT it to work, but it's just way behind!

Let's vote! How much better would Quicken Online be with the addition of
1. A button that says "Refresh All Acounts Now" to Home and/or Accounts?
2. Allow user to set when refresh of all accounts should occur automatically under settings?
3. Make it a priority that Quicken or Intuit, or whoever is this company work diligently each day to make sure they work with any and all banks to make sure refresh works accurately and efficiently?
After all, is REFRESH not the most important function of any financial software or site? If REFRESH is not flexible and does not work properly then the entire software and/or site is useless. Make the REFRESH function top priority and flexible!

Came across this post as I was seeking the same answer. I wanted to convert from Quicken Desktop version. Quicken online is worthless to me if it doesn't refresh itself automatically. The dumber thing is that the mobile app version just syncs with the online data and therefore only gives you an update of the info you just had to manually refresh? I don't get the logic. The other thing is categories don't support subcategories, therefore your expenses are totally fragmented. It was free so I guess it was worth a try but this product needs to mature.

I cant seem to get any of my accounts to update at all. I can log in to my banks no problem, but I haven't been able to get QO to download transactions for several days! I wonder if they are trying to get us switched over to mint (which doesn't support my banks)
