Can quicken online and desktop coexist?

I'd like to use online just to be able to check consolodated balances quickly on the go, but stick with my quicken 2008 premier at home to manage my 401k etc.

So my question is, when quicken online does its thing to pull transactions for the day, when i go home and sync my windows software, will it miss transactions because they got pulled to online instead?

I'm not sure if the synching is based on a 'per account' basis or if having two clients wont affect each other.

Thanks

Hi All,
Unfortunately, Quicken Online and Quicken Desktop are two separate products, and don't sync with each other.

Actually the question wasnt whether they 'sync' with each other, but rather does using one prevent the other from working correctly.

If Quicken Online is pulling updates from my bank about my checking account, with quicken desktop still see those same updates? Or once quicken online pulls say a deposit to my account, is it 'gone' and will not show up if i sync quicken desktop.

    Hi mkaspro,
Sorry for the misunderstanding--no, because these are two different products, you can use both without issue on the same computer, and download the same transactions to both--
