I corrected my beginning balance by looking at my bank statement from Washington Mutual and then I brought the balance up to the same amount in Quicken by making a deposit dated Jan 1 for the difference. With Bank of America I had to diminish the balance given by Quicken and I did that by making a withdrawal dated Jan 1. Bank of America is 9 days behind in being downloaded into Quicken. Does anyone else have this problem? Also, is there a way to delete the transaction lines (spaces) in the register. I made a lot of errors while going through the above. I erased the transactions that I had made (deposits etc.) but the spaces still remain and show 0 balance, which is not a problem, but the extra lines (spaces) take up space. How do you get rid of those unwanted lines (spaces)? Thx

I am having a similar issue. My bank just changed from WAMU to Chase. Online Chase show my balance as one amount and in Quicken it shows my online balance as a different amount.

Cr3dit card balance is displaying available balance instead of total outstanding balance. Prior to Friday Credit Card balance was displayed as total outstanding balance NOT available balance.

The one that's not showing the right balance for me is Bank of America checking account. But having seen all the posts here - I'm getting very scared about my other accounts.....

My BofA checking account is showing a bigger balance than it really has. This is not good.

I have First National Bank of Colorado and it also shows the incorrect account balance.

I hung in with Quicken online for a couple of months, hoping the flakiness would resolve, but it's only gotten worse for me.

1. I've got double listings of transactions (follows no pattern)
2.Frequently would not update my account; also not following any pattern.
3. Stopped using it for a month. Just logged back in, and several of my accounts will not refresh. I reentered my passwords, just to make sure. Still won't retrieve. It seems to have lost my CHASE account altogether.

In short, I'm through with Quicken online. They just don't seem to be that interested in refining the product to be responsive to everyone's postings.

I hope other people have a better experience than I have.

I am just starting and got things pretty well done, except that my income of two months ago doesn't show on Quicken. Is there a way to add an income entry for a past month? Month before and after show that income correctly. Alexa
