I am having the same issue. Apparently once a transaction clears you cannot change the date. This is a problem when it comes to goals as I may have paid for something in, lets say, October but when it clears it could be in November.
Prior to it clearing I would manually ener it in October.

I wish we could choose to override the date once it clears.

I too need this. Mint has it, but QO doesn't. It is really a necessary tool if you want to budget correctly. Sometimes my paychecks get transferred in on the last day of the previous month because of a weekend or holiday, or I buy something with money from one month but it doesn't clear until a few days later in then next month. When I look at my budget projections, everything is off.

I too would like this feature. I have the same problem when I get a paycheck at the end of the month. It goes into the wrong month. Similarly, when paying bills, I pay at the end of the month, but doesn't clear until next month. Some months are double counted and some months don't have any transactions. This makes my monthly trends look inaccurate - over spent some months, and extra income in other months.

Does anyone if Quicken has this listed as a future enhancement or how we can request this feature?
