When does quicken fetch the latest transactions from my bank statements?

Daily, if by daily i mean whenever it wants to within a one week period, then yes, daily.

I have gotten into a manual refresh cycle when i wake up in the morning and when i come home from work, but it seems it might auto update at least 24 to 30 hours after the last manual refresh. You'll have to track the "As Of..." date on the account.
