For some reason my real balance says I have more money in my account then what my actual account says. This should not be because I have put in upcoming transactions. I should be considerably under what it says I have. This is is only my second day using Quicken and so far It has no clue what's actually in my account. Any help would be appreshaited. Also cant seem to figure out how to add my Atlantic Regional Visa card? Thanks for the help....
My real balance is also incorrect. It is significantly less than what I actually have. I haven't figured an answer yet but I just wanted to let you know you're not alone.
I will keep trying. Let me know if you figure anything out.
Alright, I have fixed it but I'm not sure it's permanent. I added a deposit of the difference to the "Upcoming Transactions." In your case, you could add a false expense.

The "Real Balance" is composed of two amounts: the "cleared" balance plus any uncleared Upcoming Transactions dated today or earlier.
You can see both amounts on the Home tab if you have elected to display the account in question on the Home tab. The "cleared balance" is shown first and called "Name of Account Balance": this amount is supplied by your financial institution.
The next row, called "Transactions Not Yet Cleared", displays the total of uncleared upcoming transactions that apply (and if you click on that amount, it will list the upcoming transactions that comprise the amount).
If your financial institution supplies an incorrect "cleared balance" (say they include "pended" transactions in the amount), Quicken Online will not be able to get your real balance correct.
How to ask a question.
