I have a question about credit cards. Every expense from my credit cards show as an expense. But when I pay my credit card bill each month, that shows as an expense too. So now my pie chart shows a large "credit card payment", but that's just doubling the expenses already accounted for. How do I get rid of one of these?

The credit card charges are your legitimate expenses: categorize the credit card payment to "Transfers Out".
