FinanceWorks vs. Quicken Online

So my bank offers FinanceWorks powered by Quicken, which as far as I can see, is the same thing as Quicken Online. Does anyone know if putting my information into FinanceWorks ties me to staying with my current bank or if I can leave my bank and log into Quicken Online and keep that info. I don't have a Quicken Online username/password, that's currently tied to my current bank account.
I am just starting with it (been a Quicken for Mac user, and am getting tired of the flaws with it), so I can just stop doing it and start again with Quicken Online, it's more important to me to remain portable. Anyone know?
