What would the problems be with paying off a CC bill all at one time? I'm wondering if it would effect my credit to pay the payoff price they offer instead of paying monthly payments with interest.
I pay my credit card in full every month within the grace period. The advantage is that I don't pay any interest.
There is also another advantage: your credit card issuer will report that you pay more than the minimum, which will improve your credit score.
If you have a large debt, it might help you to look into balance transfers in order to gain half a year or a year of interest free debt.
