Hi Guys,

I set up my budget in the goals section but the transactions that have posted to my account are not being carried over and reflected as money spent towards the specific goal. I did go through and classify my transactions, but can't seem to get this feature to work properly.
Brand new to Quicken Online.
Any suggestions?

I figured out that it is my credit card. Whenever it downloads the transactions it lists my expenses as income.
(for some reason the balance is still correct though)
it's just that my expenses are all green (Even though i have them in their proper categories)
So the information doesn't transfer over to my trends and goals.
Is there a way to fix this?

    I doubt it.

Sounds like there are two problems.

One problem is your fi may be sending transactions with the wrong algebraic sign.  A few credit card companies (American Express among them) have been known to do that when downloading transactions to the Quicken desktop products.  In the Quicken desktop products, you could change an amount from a "payment" to a "charge"; but I know of no way to change the sign of a "cleared" transaction in Quicken Online.

The second problem is that Quicken Online should not exclude transactions from Trends or Goals just because the transactions don't have the algegraic sign of a normal expense transaction.  That leaves no way to account for the return of merchandise, or for rebates, etc.
