My financial instituation splits transaction details into multiple columns. When uploaded to Quicken, we only get a transaction description like "DBT PURCHASE ON 09/13 @ 21:21" instead of the more detailed description. How do we instruct Quicken to acquire more detailed information from additional columns from each record?

I am experiencing a similar issue with my checking account. The Payee Name is listed as either WITHDRAW or DEPOSIT on all transactions so Quicken cannot categorize. This is consistent with my bank website's report, but my bank's website includes a description. Can Quicken pull in the description?

I have not received any feedback from the community or Quicken directly, but I beleive this must be common for a lot of people to want more information from other columns in the record sets.

.. such a basic necessity... and being that Quicken has been developing financial budgeting software for this long it's hard to beleive this is missing.
