Does Quicken Online have the concept of Sub Categories? So far, I have not been able to create them.

For example, in Quicken Deluxe, I can easily create Auto:Fuel:GMC_Envoy. This will then be a sub category under Auto, and another under Fuel. However, this does not appear to work in the Online version. Please advise.

Thanks,
    Ubuntu

So far I don't think Quicken Online is set up to give users the ability to add subcategories. I would really like this application too- so I hope they add it- we should tell them to!

Apologies, we don't currently have the ability to add sub-categories in the product.

    Thanks,

Put subcategories at the top of the to-do list. Super helpful, basic functionality from Quicken. It's a must. Thanks.

Sub categories is a must have. It was part of the Quicken program that came pre-loaded on the desktop I bought in 2002 from Best Buy.

Which had about as much computing power as a new Blackberry.

There's no reason to not have subcategories.

OK so no subcategories... yet? There seems to be a lot of loyal quicken users. Personally I'd love to have all the abilities that Quicken desktop has like sub categories. (I see that quicken online just added splits the other day - Thanks!) Heck I'd be willing to pay for online version. It would be real cool if there was a way to upload my years of data. I am away from my home PC so much it would be nice to update accounts online from my work pc or iPhone app.

Add my voice to the call for sub-categories. I am really missing Microsoft Money. I've been trying to get adjusted to Quicken Online. The inability to split transactions was driving me crazy, so I tried Mint.com, which had other issues. I've come back to QO and am grateful for split transactions.

Any idea of when/if sub-categories may appear? Is this being worked on? considered?
