I have not been able to update my account for the longest time and I am VERY close to purchasing Microsoft Money. I would consider purchasing a Quicken product if anyone can tell me if the auto update issues are happening in the Quicken Deluxe version. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!!

My accounts from one credit union will not refresh @ all and it keeps giving me a error 101 message. I have gone through the report process several times, but have not received any response at all.

My accounts are are three days behind currently. I can't say that this is helpful at all. What can I do. I manually refresh but it only updates until the 12th and today is the 15th.
Is anybody at the wheel?? Quicken people?? Hello??
How do you think it looks when threads about bugs are still alive after over 16 months?
Like so many other, I'm fine with providing feedback and help fine tune the product which, after all, is free but if I feel that nobody's listening, why would I bother?
There are other, if not perfect at least more responsive, free solutions out there.

Been having the problem for a couple of weeks now where my accounts won't refresh automatically and most won't refresh even manually. I deleted and added one account and it appears to be OK now, but I have accounts at several institutions and all of them have issues! I hate to reset them all as I will lose all transaction history which would make this whole effort pointless since I am trying to track trends for the entire year. Seems this issue has been a problem with Quicken online off and on for over a year now . . .

On 01/17/08, barronernst posted a "best answer" that said, basically, "problem fixed"... but, here I am almost two years later and I'm having this same problem now.

I have not been able to update accounts for several weeks. I have tried unsuccessfully to request Quicken Phone Support. I have also tried unsuccessfully to send emails to Quicken Support. I have not had any response. Have any of you had the same problem?
You've got to be freakin' kidding me!!! This has been an issue for over a year and a half, and Quicken STILL hasn't fixed it???!!! That's shockingly pathetic. How difficult is it to add a standard automated update action for accounts upon a user logging in - via web AND iPhone app?? It's not!!! And if they can't manage an auto refresh, why haven't they at least put in a simple button for users to initiate a refresh of all accounts - again on the site AND iPhone???
As things are now, the iPhone app is basically useless, because we have to first go on to the website, refresh every account individually, and only then is the darn thing even current. Completely absurd!
Come on, Inuit, get it together!!
You've currently got an incredibly loyal customer base, and this is basic, common sense functionality that we need.
INTUIT, PLEASE ANSWER THIS -
WHEN EXACTLY IS THIS GOING TO BE AVAILABLE????

Yeah I'm not going to get as irate as the person above me. I love the program but the lack of an auto-refresh definitely has me shopping around for other online and iPhone applications. Please fix that, I really want the ability to get real time data on my phone...

No refresh as well. Traditionally, you take the # of online answers (people who take the trouble) and multiply it by about a thousand for those who don't take the trouble. This program has potential, but it might be time to look into MINT.com if Intuit support doesn't feel like answering these forums....

Money has just canceled online banking services. It is now past time to renew to get it at least one more year. Money no longer supports background updating of accounts, no check printing, just a check register and bill summary for reminding you of upcoming bills. Oh it will still track taxes, etc, BUT!
SO the very thing I am missing is a major problem with Quicken?

what do we know about Mint? It is free but does it do all the things Money Deluxe used to do? Will it print checks from the online site? I saw no mention of that on the web site. I was so spoiled not having to manually download my accounts.

I recently signed on to Quicken Online. Contrary to many that claim the accounts won't automatically update, my accounts are updated automatically every evening at about 7PM Eastern Time. Not sure if I got on to a test group!!
My issue, however, is that many of my mutual funds do not update for the current day by 7PM Eastern. They take a lot longer. So I am always a day behind. For me it would be preferable to get the accounts updated during the morning hours.

I have 6 accounts at US Bank. Every time I update, I get challanged 6 times with a security question. The bank charges $6 a month for this service. You'd think Quicken and US Bank could work out a more satisfactory user experience.

I have no answer. My accounts are not updating either. My bank is Institution for Savings, Newburyport, MA. Since October 7th, nothing has downloaded and "refresh" does NOT work. I have checked everything, both at my bank's website and at my online version of Quicken for Macintosh. Seems MANY people are having this problem... My bank switched over to a vastly different system. Their whole online presence changed and they went from three vendors taking care of the programming, etc. to one company now handling things (as I understand it). They don't seem to understand what the problem is. Can anyone help? How about someone at Intuit? I've sent several email messages to Intuit and filled out a questionnaire but they still don't seem to "get it." I'm getting extremely frustrated with this whole thing. I managed to download the transactions to Excel. Is there a way of transferring those into Quicken? Even if I do that, though, no new transactions are downloading directly into Quicken anyway. I'd really like to be able to use Quicken (online version for Mac) but I don't know how much longer I will be willing to wait for someone at Intuit to fix the problem...
