I, too, appear to have the same problem. I used to update info via Quicken just fine and I've made no changes. Now the error message: "New security measures have been addded to protect your identity...." etc. etc.

Any help would be appreciated so I can re-synch.

I do not have Citizen's Bank, But our problems are just a like.... and here is what I have learned.
My bank, just up-dated (1 week now) their web site to a new server. According to them, they have to contact Quicken's and get their "on-line" Quicken's Directory Information updated/corrected to their new server.
Quicken's syncs to these "URL" addresses and allows us to download the bank's information to our computers using our ID and passwords. I feel your pain, because my bank seems to be taking their time too.
Best suggestion, is to keep contacting your bank and have them correct the error in their URL address on the Quicken's Directory.
(If you did nothing to your settings, then this should correct the problem).

Alot of companies are changing their web servers, why, no one seems to know.
If this problem is the same as mine, you have to contact your bank and report the problem. The problem is with the Quicken's Directory on line that we (customers that use Quicken's) use to sync to our banks and credit unions.
Once the Quicken's Directory is up-dated with the "new" web server URL address, you should be able to down load your information with no problems.

Good Luck...... start with your bank !

I've been having a few issues since Citizens Bank updated their online banking website. There was the obvious problem of nothing getting updated for a while, but seems to have gone away. Now my checking account is always showing a balance of $0, but my transactions are showing up OK, albeit a few days behind like usual. But the zero balance is quite annoying because it completely screws up my outlook. Please help!

I just recently got Quicken Online and I have Citizens Bank. It looks like all the transactions got imported for 3 months. When I clicked the refresh yesterday I didn't see any new transactions. The balance was ok. Today, I clicked refresh. Again no new transactions but the balance looked ok. I'm wondering if anyone experiences the same problem. I spent 3 - 4 hours last night working on getting it set up and still have more work to do. I hate to have more work be a waste of time!

Yeah, that seems to be par for the course with Citizens Bank, my transactions are always 3-4 days behind it seems. The balance is always correct if a recent refresh was done. Not sure why that is, or what the reason would be for holding back those transactions whenever Quicken queries for them.

It seems I've had problem with Citizens Bank using MS Money. I always had to correct past transactions for duplicate transactions and it was frustrating. I thought it was MS Money but I'm getting the feeling it is Citizens Bank. I didn't have a problem when I had Bank of America. Hmmm, thinking about getting an account with Bank of America since they are a bigger bank and I'm sure they are more on the ball than Citizens Bank. Citizens Bank looks like it is only in the Northeast.
