We want to get the app right, so we're not rushing into anything. prioritizing a top usablity experience, over just getting something out. That said, we're working hard.

+1
I am also waiting for a Quicken Deluxe iphone app. I have bought Quicken every year for over ten years. Quickenonline is useless to me right now (can't reconcile, etc.).
if you look in the quicken beam forum, there is a similar thread with peope calling for an iPhone version of pocket quicken. I agree, quicken online is of no use for me. repeat after me "WE WANT POCKET QUICKEN FOR IPHONE!"

Yes, I've been using it on Safari for quite a while, and it works pretty well. There are a few bugs, e.g., you click "refresh this account" and the screen just jumps down a few "pages" and does nothing. But then you click "refresh this account" a second time, and it works fine.
Yes it does work fine if you don’t mind dealing with all of the pain the comes with using a web page(mobile or otherwise)
Mobile online is lame. An application that takes advantage of the iPhone specific features is what is wanted. And slapping a cute icon on a link to a web page is not the same thing and an application.
Do some recon on mint.com, What your customers want is a Quicken backend with and application like theirs for the IPhone. (Plus bill pay of course)
I found it hard to believe Quicken did not come up with an application for iphone, not just a web-browser option. The web-browser option is slow and very weak. mint.com is doning an ok job, but their account updates are not satisfactory. it is nevertheless, a nice iphone application. I would like to see intuit having a more robust iphone resident app that can sync with quickenonline or other quicken applications. As you purchase something it is very productive to "clear" the transaction (while you still remember it) at the end of the day, so you can minimize your bank reconciliation effort at the end of the month. If this can be synced to your computer based quicken program, the benefits are great...
This is a must have for me, and could spell the difference as to whether I continue to use Quicken or not. I travel, and have travel related expenses. When I had a Palm Treo, I used and was very satisfied with Pocket Quicken. It saved me a great deal of my precious home time, as I didn't have to sit and enter my weeks receipts manually. Since switching to an Iphone, that advantage disappeared.
With the huge popularity of this phone, it is ridiculous that an app is not on the market.
Get it right, and get it out, or you risk losing a very long term user of your software. I do have choices.
Quicken just came out with a Quicken Online app. It looks pretty good except it doesn't sync with my desktop quicken. What good is it to be able to enter transactions on the app if it doesn't go anywhere. Are you saying we should stop using desktop quicken and use the free quicken online instead? What kind of business model is this?
Hear me loud and clear. We want pocket Quicken for the iPhone!
1ST of all, would you please come out with a user friendly version of Quicken for Mac? Quicken 2007 for Mac really sucks. Then you must create a good user friendly Pocket Quicken. I have been using Quicken since 1993 and had every version of pocket quicken, but now I have an iPhone and an iMac and it really sucks that I have to still use my old PC for my Quicken input and then, I have to do it all at home instead of "on the go" like I did when I had Pocket Quicken. HURRY UP!
