Quicken just came out with a Quicken Online app. It looks pretty good except it doesn't sync with my desktop quicken. What good is it to be able to enter transactions on the app if it doesn't go anywhere. Are you saying we should stop using desktop quicken and use the free quicken online instead? What kind of business model is this?

Hear me loud and clear. We want pocket Quicken for the iPhone!

1ST of all, would you please come out with a user friendly version of Quicken for Mac? Quicken 2007 for Mac really sucks. Then you must create a good user friendly Pocket Quicken. I have been using Quicken since 1993 and had every version of pocket quicken, but now I have an iPhone and an iMac and it really sucks that I have to still use my old PC for my Quicken input and then, I have to do it all at home instead of "on the go" like I did when I had Pocket Quicken. HURRY UP!

I used to use Pocket Quicken all the time on my Palm. Now I have an iPhone. Back on 8/26/2008, Bermster (Intuit employee) states that they're working on an app. Give me a break - almost a year and a half? I'm a software engineer, and it does not take that amount of time to make a little app that syncs with Quicken desktop and has some limited functionality. Mint doesn't fill the need either. When, when, when, when?????????????

thank you for resurrecting this topic. i have been getting inundated with offers (read: spam) from intuit wanting me to go to quicken 10, etc.

here, let me make it nice and simple for you:
"I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER INTUIT PRODUCT UNTIL YOU MAKE POCKET QUICKEN FOR THE IPHONE SO STOP SENDING ME YOUR EMAILS AND CD'S."

    hope i wasn't unclear.

it's funny, given the economic situation of this country, that a company won't make a simple little product that thousands of people are clamoring for.

you note that when they were trying to divert us to the online version, they were quick to respond but not now. I am going to start a Facebook group for those that are giving up Intuit products over this issue. It is ridiculous that they are willing to try and force us to the online version. But as of now, I am leaving a 15+ year relationship with Intuit products.

Amen. I want PocketQuicken for my Iphone and I want it now! As a financial planner, I can say that Quicken Online is a joke. Mint.com is for the neophyte.

I have been a PocketQuicken and Quicken user for years, but I am no longer buying their products until they get over themselves (Apple and Intuit) and start realizing that they are hacking off their customers.

We need a Boston Tea Party-style boycott now!

Wow, this thread is 17 months old now and still nothing.

Intuit team, millions upon millions of people have purchased iPhones since they were released over two years ago. Many stand-alone "finance" apps have been released, but none compare to the convenience and ease-of-use of Pocket Quicken. Thousands upon thousands of people have requested PQ for the iPhone, but we were only given a link to Quicken Online, a crippled app whose functionality is limited to merely a checkbook register.

After two full years to develop a feature-rich, intuitive, well-planned iPhone app that syncs via wifi or BT with a PC/Mac, can you please inform you customer base of your intentions regarding Pocket Quicken? "We want to take our time..." just doesn't cut it anymore.

IF you don't plan to develop this app for iPhone, just say so.

Thanks, from a former Palm PQ (v1-2) user, Quicken (2000-current), Quickbooks (inception to current version), and TurboTax (1997-current) user.

I agree. I'm only staying with Quicken on the assumption that it will eventually work with the iPhone. But I'm switching to a non-intuit product if they don't get this resolved soon. It is starting to appear that either Intuit doesn't want to develop the product or is a pretty poor software company if they can't get this figured out while just about every other company has.
