I have setup maybe 10 recurring payments which are showing in my Upcoming Transactions view. Today in Sept 3rd and it is going out as far as Nov 18. The problem though is that for the recurring transactions which are setup as something other than monthly it is only showing the very next one, say a biweekly payment on Sept 11th. It is not showing the next expected for Sept 25th. However for those that are monthly it is showing them for all the next several months. Is this a bug? A setting? An ID10T (user) error?

Having just transferred from money, I am a little confused with Quicken.
Money had a customized view which allowed for dates to begin and end. I usually asked for 10/1/09 to 6/1/10 to get a view of future items due. This allowed me to see a once a year payment ahead of when I needed to pay it. Thanks, I would like this.

Jim,

I just started using Quicken Online. So far, so good, but I think you guys missed the boat on this one. It's impossible to evaluate cash flow without at least a months worth of upcoming transactions. Might make a nice user preference option as to how many months of upcoming transactions to show. If you have a chance, please respond to the thread and communicate current thinking on this topic.

I would like to see each transaction that was going to happen. So if I'm looking at a 30 day view and something is weekly I'd like to see all 4 occurrences. The Real Balance is nor really the real balance is it??

Is anyone from Quicken monitoring this or am I wasting keystrokes?

I think there have been good suggestions to have the reoccurring transactions show up as often (and with the proper dates) as required to fulfill the range set in the "show" drop down list.

So if the frequency is set for twice a month with a start day of the first of the month, and the range set to show the next 60 days... the transaction should show up four times... the 1st and 15th of month one and the 1st and 15th of month two. This is the mostlogical and intuitive behavior that has been proposed.

By the way.. as a fellow software support troll, i can sympathize with the work load you must be experiencing.. .but someone should respond to this thread... this is a fairly large flaw in an otherwise well designed product. just my $.02

Oh wait... the time frame isn;t dependent on the transaction history drop-down setting.I guess it should be dependant on what the Home tab > Stay on top of bills > View spending outlook time frame is set to... one or two pay periods.
