Wells Fargo is now available! Thanks to everyone for their patience while we added Wells Fargo to the product. It is now available for use in Quicken Online.
A few notes about Wells Fargo. It works differently than other financial institutions you have in Quicken Online. Wells Fargo will require a manual refresh to get the latest data because you must supply your username and password each time you want to get the latest transactions and balances.
To do this, simply follow these steps: 1. Click on one of your Wells Fargo accounts (it can be any account held at Wells)
2. On the next page, click the "Refresh This Account" link in the upper right
3. A prompt will appear, asking you for your Wells Fargo credentials. Enter these and hit continue.
4. Wait for the refresh process to complete. During this time, we will update your balances and transactions for all Wells Fargo accounts linked to the username/password you entered.
Thanks everyone for your patience while we got this added. Please feel free to leave comments if you have questions.

I have one month left in my free trial. I would like to use Quicken online, but if I can't see transactions from my main bank - Wells Fargo - then it won't be worth continuing. Please fix this or at least respond to our concerns.
Same here. Quicken Online correctly shows my Wells Fargo balances, but not the actual transactions. The manual update fails with "Your bank may be temporarily unavailable." which I know is not true since I can see my transactions on wellsfargo.com website. Any hope this is being addressed?

Barron,
The manual refresh works fine every time with no issues. I am still sticking to Quicken Online because as of today (Jun, 2009), it is a superior product to Mint and Yodlee as far as my needs go.
The usability and functionality both show that this is a product that has clearly benefited from the experience of other more established Quicken/Intuit products. For that, I would like to thank you, it is indeed a great product!
But I am sure many of us would like to know if
your team is thinking about overcoming the automatic Wells Fargo refresh hurdle. I am not sure
why someone like Intuit cannot do this while others Mint and Yodlee can. What are your thoughts on this?

It looks like the discussion regarding Wells Fargo auto update died off. Is it possible to review this once again? Is there any sign that auto update will be available from Wells Fargo at some point. Like many others, this is my primary account and therefore makes the mobile app obsolete without auto update.

Bummer, my Wells Fargo account is not syncing with Quicken Online either.
It was already annoying that it had to be done manually.
I also have the Quicken Online app on my iPhone and thoroughly agree it is pointless when I have to first make it to a computer in order update manually before I can see any transactions.
That is when it is working at all...
I hope WellsFargo and you guys get this fixed, especially with the acquisition of mint.com now. That's a big deal and if there's no support from or for Wells Fargo, I guess I'll have to switch banks.
The Wells Fargo integration is unacceptable, especially from a company such as Intuit. MS Money doesn't require a username/password entry on every update, nor does Mint, Yodlee etc.
As many on here have mentioned, it renders the iPhone app useless, and having to refresh each Wells Fargo account separately (which only works about 1/2 the time) makes even the online version difficult to use.
Please! Fix wells Fargo for automatic update or tell us who at Wells Fargo (as a customer) we can hound ourselves to help you resolve the problem.
I setup Quicken Online. Love it. And now I find it rather useless without automatic update. The notifications as well as the iPhone application are pointless without automatic update.

Hello. My wife and I use Quicken OnLine and are Wells Fargo Customers. We also use the Quicken App for our IPhones. First, we would like to be able to update Quicken OnLine with our IPhones so we don't have to take computers with us when wee travel. I would also like to be able to add reoccurring transactions from my IPhone. This doesn't work at least not right now. Finally, I find adding transactions to Quicken on-line via my computer impossible because the dropdown boxes, combos, etc. are not accessible. Other sites routinely make these types of dropdowns accessible. If anyone on the Quicken OnLine product team is reading this, I would like you to give me a date when I can expect this fixed. You need to address the calendar part of the reoccuring transactions. Also the Category, the type and any other dropdown boxes. While you're att it, please fix the dropdowns for regular transactions as well. If you are not using standard controls for these dropdowns I suggest that you consider doing so. I love Quicken online and assume that Intuit will address these issues promptly. Finally, how do we start new posts?
I agree with everyone's comments. We really need Wells Fargo to auto update so that we can use the mobile app. I have called Wells Fargo and posted other comments around the quicken community, but no one is doing anything. Please respond and at least let us know if a fix is in the works. Thanks!
