I would like to see Quicken Bill Pay and Quicken Online integrated so that everything is in one place. It would also be a big time saver to have bills paid thru Quicken Bill Pay automatically show up as pending transactions for "real time balance information."

Ditto. I more likely to make the switch from Microsoft Money if I can use your online version does Bill Pay too.

Yes, I agree this needs to be done! I am using Quicken 2007 Home and Business on my PC and would like to completely migrate over to the online version, but I HAVE to have bill paying and scheduling available in Quicken Online to make this switch. Please add this right away!

    Thanks!

I also agree. I would actually like to switch from using Paytrust to use an all Quicken solution.

I was lead to believe that Quicken Online worked with Quicken Bill Pay. I even setup 2 payees and switched them to E-bill until I realized that I don't have Quicken, I have Quicken Online!

I hope Bill Pay will be available for Quicken Online really soon.

Actually I was very excited about this until I found out that it has limited accounts and no bill pay. So, I will keep coming back here reading these forums hoping it becomes one Bill Pay and Quicken Online. I currently use Quicken Premier home Business for our business and would love to be able to use this new service. Time will tell I guess.

I'd also like to be able to switch from Paytrust to Quicken Online. Quicken Online needs to have these features added to do that:

    1. Bill Pay (to anyone too, via a paper check if they're not setup as an ebiller).

    2. A 'smart balance' feature that would update your funding account against any outstanding Quicken Online payments to show your true available balance.

    3. The ability to receive paper bills and have them scanned in for payment. I have a few old-school bills that are never going to to ebills, like the local water utility.

If Quicken Online gets these 3 features set up this product will be incredibly compelling.

Thanks -- and hope to see them soon!

Unbelievable that Quicken Online Doesn't have Billpay?

    Incredibly stupid oversight.

Probably the deal breaker for me. Love it otherwise, but giving up billpay is too much to ask.

    To whom is may Concern:

    please add bill pay ...

your service only aggregates all my online accounts - instead of logging into them all in multiple tabs (which really is not all that hard) --- quicken just puts it together ... which is nice, but unless more features like:
    - budgeting
    - bill pay
    - multiple user login
    - ability to download advanced line items (like I can view digital copies of checks through my bank)
    - ability to transfer money electronically to any bank

When is bill paying going to be included? Otherwise this is not a product I want to use. I still have to enter the information twice. I still have to access my CC's website to pay it.

Please reply with a date billpay will be included.

I vote for combining Quicken Online with the Paytrust product Intuit also owns. Perhaps borrow the bill presentment side from Paytrust and use Quicken Bill Pay to send out payments. Either way, there needs to be some unification of these Intuit Financial Products.

This is like Apple releasing a new laptop without wifi. Online banking and bill pay would seem to be very, very synergistic.

C'mon, Intuit! Stop investing so much in your mammoth Windows apps and start investing a lot more in the Web and Mac OS. That's the future, folks!

I have been a Quicken user for about 10 years. The idea of having all my data online, available from anywhere with an internet connection sounded like a great idea.

So I spent an afternoon putting in all my banking info, and my credit card accounts. So far, great. I could see paying $2.99 a month for this, and stop buying the retail version of Quicken.

Now, it's time to pay a bill. Ok, where is the button to do that? I cannot find anything remotely close to bill paying. At this point, I think to myself that this is crazy. Why would I pay for this service, when I cannot even send a credit card payment in?

I hope they see the need to add this functionality to this software. I see that they have dropped the $2.99 monthly fee. I was not going to pay that anyway, since I could not pay a bill thru Quicken Online. For free, I will keep my online account active, but I will use it exclusively once (if) bill paying is added.

Same here. The product is pretty much worthless without online bill pay.

Also, I'd like to see future transactions in-line with cleared items -- register features identical to those in the workstation versions of Quicken and Money. It's incredibly annoying to have to deal with two side-by-side registers.

    I also agree.

I think it would make more sense for them to integrate two of their own softwares than a 3rd parties. It would also be great to manage everything from one login.

I am disappointed in the lack of development at Paytrust since it was bought by Intuit though. They don't even support importing into the newer versions of Quicken.

I realize it must be a mammoth job building all the interfaces to make Quicken Online integrate with the various versions of Quicken. I would suggest they start with the standard version of Quicken. Then progress, to Home and Business. Having this software web based is the ONLY thing that makes sense. Right now I use Quicken Bill Pay, its very rudimentary, but it is easy and it does work.

Hopefully, Quicken isn't so big that they think they can drag their feet on this web based software.

I concur with everyone else on this discussion.
Viewing all the accounts online is nice.

Enabling payment of bills makes it truly useful.
    If that feature is implemented,
then I would gladly abandon all of my other
online banking and credit card accounts.

I agree that this is a valuable feature, even if it requires a monthly fee. One integrated online experience for all financial services needs is of tremendous value. The best online bill pay experience I've had is with PNC Bank, but that software was also used at NetBank, for whomever used them back in the day.

    Hi-

I'm new to this online. I'm still adding accounts and wanted to make a payment on a credit card. So what you're telling me is I set ALL of this information up and am NOT able to make payments through Quicken online? If this is the case, what is the point? I still have to log in onto another bank's site to pay the credit card.

    Any ideas?

Perhaps paying bills, transferring funds, etc. isn't essential in Quicken Online. However, considering Quicken Online can get data from over 5000 different financial institutions, it's nearly inconceivable that it can't receive and display data on payments made via Quicken Billpay. The idea of having to re-enter,in Quicken Online, the transactions previously entered in Quicken Billpay seems to run entirely counter to the Intuit value proposition of making financial management easier. It's down right counter intuitive, if you'll pardon the pun.

I already pay $9.95/month for Quicken Bill Pay and would be willing to pay an extra $!/month for Q Online and Q Billpay integration.

Now that MS Money is offically dead, the switch will be a lot easier. The next question will be how much will Intuit raise their prices now that they're the only game in town.

    People,

I am a user of Quicken Premier 2009, Quicken Online, and Quicken Bill Pay. Quicken (desktop) is a paid service; Quicken Online is free; Quicken Bill Pay ($9.95 monthly fee). I would LOVE to see the integration of Quicken Bill Pay into Quicken Online, trust me I would. BUT, let's not forget 1 thing, Intuit is in this business to make $$$$. They are NOT going to give up revenue and provide every users option into one application at NO CHARGE. Ain't gonna happen.

A better question to ask is, "how many of us would be willing to pay $9.95 monthly (or a nominal monthly fee) to UNLOCK the Bill Pay feature in Quicken Online?"
