Quicken Online
Windows XP
This post is about: Quicken Online
While several minor improvements have been made to Quicken Online since I started using this product over a year ago, the are minimal at best. When are any of the issues below going to be resolved and/or Quicken Online Tech's team even going to acknowledge them?

I am fully willing to pay (and did before it became free) for this product if that's what it's going to take to have a responsive Tech Team and for this software to be functional. If I didn't need the accessibility of the online version I would have switched to the desktop version a lot time ago!

1. Split Transactions - How can they even offer a financial software without this capability? I can't accurately track 1/2 of my transactions without splitting them out in my wallet which is not a great way to do it and you have to go through several screens to do it.

2. Adding Financial Institutions - Since Wells Fargo was added 8 months ago I have not seen anyone's bank added. There are several major credit cards and banks which have just been ignored although repeated requests have been made to have them added.

3. Pending Transactions Matching is Awful - I make sure that I accurately enter almost every pending transaction that I have so that it can match. 1/2 of the time although it removes my pending transaction (so you would think it matched it) and then assigns it to another category or Payee. The other 1/2 it doesn't match at all. The amounts are exact, the dates are exact, what seems to be the problem?

4. Linking Accounts - You should be able to transfer money between accounts in your pending transactions without having to go in to each account and manually type in "Transfer to ***" and "Transfer from ***". There should be some type of GUI where you can drag and drop or something along those lines.

5.My Wallet - Once you enter a transaction in My Wallet it is set. Can't be modified. So if you happen to have a typo you have to then delete the transaction and start over. Which gets really fun if you're modifying a transaction at the bottom of the page bc then you have to scroll all over the place! Very frustrating!

Ok all...I know I'm not alone. Rant is over!

Quicken web connect is for your PC, not your hand-held device. ...and yes, it's ton's better than Quicken online. Ask your bank about it.....it's simple to use and you won't believe the conveniences it gives you! Good Luck!
