Is this something you are looking at adding though, (the ability to look out farther than 2 paychecks)? You have the interface built, just need to "expand" the time line that it's displaying. I see a lot of post about cash flow projections, etc, and it seems if this one feature that exists were just expanded it would solve that.
Hi Rozy,
We don't usually discuss our future plans, but we know that this is something users are asking for--and we take all suggestions into account when we update Quicken Online--

I get paid every two weeks. My wife does also. I wish there was a frequency of every four weeks. This way I could have two sets of repeating transactions two weeks apart. This would accomplish ability to look two pay periods ahead for both paychecks.
Since so many expenses are monthly, there should always be a way to look at a rolling month to prevent over-spending in a part of the month when few bills are due.
I'm also VERY interested in this since both my wife and I are paid every two weeks. Since we alternate weeks the two paycheck limit really limits the value of this feature.
Apparently you just display the 'next' transaction of a repeating transaction that is entered, like a a paycheck. I LOVE your cashflow projector btw, but do wish it looked a little further out. It doesn't seem to cut off at a date, just doesn't show the NEXT in a series until the CURRENT item clears. I have some things penciled in as quarterly planned expenses and that distant one shows up, but no repeating transactions before that.
So wouldn't a workaround for seeing more paychecks is to make them separate items? Like my paycheck on the 1st could be called 'paycheck 1' and the one on the 15th could be 'paycheck 2'. Each having a frequency of once a month. Then both would always be displayed... at least 2 paychecks out anyway... but it would be much nicer if you just allowed us to stretch out to 2 or 3 months without a workaround!
The workaround can be used for weekly paychecks, or for 2x monthly pay cycles. It does not work for every 2 weeks, which would require a "every 4 weeks" recurrence to extend forcasting capability.

...should also be able to handle situations where one spouse gets paid bi-monthly (ie - 1st and 15th) while the other spouse gets paid on alternate weeks.

I find this reply to be a bit interesting since the forum is titled "Upcoming Product Features".
I'm no tech guy, but it seems to me that if there is a drop down selection that allows users to select weekly, bi-weekly, etc., it shouldn't be a big headache to have those items post through the month that is presented on the transactions list.
I will tell you that I have enjoyed most of the quicken products I have used, but this one flaw has made it disappointing to say the least. I've only been actively using it for a couple of weeks, we'll see if I stay with it, but I'm one that believes the service should adapt more to the users needs than the other way around.

This morning I logged on to see a new look for QOL, but the two paycheck graph was missing. I really depend on this, in fact it was an important reason for my deciding to use the Quicken program. I do hope it will come back soon. Any ideas about this, Kathy?
Hi 2mercury,
This is still available on the home page--just go to "Stay On Top of Bills" and set it up if you haven't already (it's very quick). Then, your "View Spending Outlook" button will be available so you can see your paycheck graph.

Is there a way to see "A YEAR" ahead, I have some big bills that I plan for and would like to see what Quicken say about the amount of money I have in my checking account to see if there will be enought in my savings account (manually look) to cover the bills.

I, too, would love love love to see at least 2 months' pay in advance. I get paid weekly, so it's kinda messy when I can't see what's ahead. Something that I've done to combat this is to manually enter each paycheck as a "one time" ocurrence. QO still deletes some of them when I hit "refresh", but a lot of the time I can still see more than just the next one. I give them unique names in hopes that they'll be there the next time I log on. I know this won't work for everyone, but my check is the same every week and it helps me at least a little.
Here's hoping that this feature gets upgraded! :o)

As one of the previous posters suggested, you can work around this. For example, if you want to always have a "true" one-month view, but you have weekly expenses like gas for your car, just create 4 separate "monthly" gas transactions, one on the 1st, one on the 8th, one on the 16th, and one on the 24th. If you get paid twice a month, set up 2 monthly paycheck transactions, one on the 15th and one on the 30th, etc. Just make everything a monthly transaction and voila! you have a monthly budget.
After you are done patting yourself on the back, you are going to want to look further in the future. Well, guess what? You can doubledown (well, tripledown in this case) and make everything a quarterly transaction. You'll have to enter everything in two more times, which can be a real pain for those weekly gas fillups or grocery store stops ('cause you'll need 12 of them!), but once you're finished, you can look ahead 2 months! Plus, you can fit in those "true" quarterly expenses like the water bill.

Yes, but trying to budget for those extra expenses down the road, which you can't see is still impossible. For ibstancei have six month insurance payments on four vechiles. I want to know how much money I have each month so I don't have to scramble to pay the bill.
I like seeing what my bank account looks like on monthly, quartly and yearly chart. It comes in handy we the paycheck is the same every payday.
