All, I am in hopes the full Quicken Deluxe with all of its features would move online. And I am here to say I would pay for it at the similar rate that I already pay every year for the upgraded version of Quicken. This would make my life so much easier and being able to check and fully manage my financials from anywhere and on the go... Yes I know about remote desktop but that knocks my wife off of the PC at home when I do that.

or any of the other Quicken products. I'd happily pay a monthly service fee to keep this info in the cloud and no longer have to deal with a desktop version. If Quicken doesn't move everything online, it's going to lose lots of customers over time -- including me.

ONLY IF IT CONNECTS TO MY ACCOUNTS AS WELL AS QUICKENONLINE CURRENTLY DOES! I guess I am the opposite of you, webbjh3. I prefer using my desktop but when it comes to finding my bank accounts quickenonline is much superior to qdeluxe.
I bought quicken deluxe 2010 the day it came out and returned it 4 days later. NO THANKS!
I have had Quicken before and have been using MS Money for the last few years (and of course that is going away).
I just discover quickenonline a month or so ago and I think it is a very good product - I just wanted the added features and flexibility of desktop quicken. I made the mistake of assuming that the desktop version would do at least as good a job of finding my accounts as quickenonline does. Boy, was I wrong! I couldn't even connect to one set of bank accounts and the other set was only partial and the data was nowhere as complete as quickenonline.
I tried Mint also and it was worse than quicken.
In order to use Quicken Online, I would have to have most of the basic features of Q Deluxe, including, certainly, check writing capability, statement reconciliation, the ability to transfer many years of data from the offline versions, and, perhaps, others that may also be missing. I haven't used Q Online yet because I see in published comments that at least the three above critical features are missing.
The idea of having an online version is appealing, however, as I often am paying bills or working on Quicken away from home and on different computers, and the convenience and greater security of not moving my data physically with me would be a significant plus. Please add the basic functionality of Q Deluxe, and you have a winner.

I too would pay for this capability. My wife uses a Mac and I use a PC. Currently we use Quicken for Mac on her machine. A full featured online service would allow both of us to access and update our financial information from either a Mac or PC.

Wow. What you stated is exactly my situation. The only difference is I purchased Quicken Deluxe a couple of days ago and returned it yesterday. Like you, I previously used Quicken and had switched to Microsoft Money a few years ago. I actually started using Quicken online about a year ago but have not been able to use it as a cashflow tool. So, I have continued to use Microsoft Money as my daiy cashflow tool. I was definitely dissappointed with Quicken Deluxe 2010 on how it simply does not connect to all of my accounts like Quicken Online does.

Agreed with all of the above, quicken online needs to offer subcategories and investment tracking. I would be willing to pay for it. I have quicken home & business 2009 and found the online version much easier.

I would also be willing to pay for a more powerful produt. Or how about just having it sync to your desktop verson of Quicken. That would give all the functionality we want and give us the portability and accessability we want. Why not?

I think Quicken is missing a tremendous revenue stream opportunity if they don't expand Online to provide desktop level features online. I know I would be willing to pay a monthly fee to have access to my information on the web versus locked on my desktop.

Absolutely. Per another post in this forum, I would pay to keep QOL from turning into Mint. I chose QOL specifically because Mint just doesn't work as well.
Add the features to QOL, charge me, and please don't try to save me $59/year by switching credit cards. I really don't care.
