All, We're excited to announce a mobile-browser version of Quicken Online! From your mobile phone with any web browser, just visit m.quicken.com and login with your QOL credentials.
The mobile version allows you to:
- View balances for all accounts
- See recent transactions for all accounts
- Look at your upcoming bills
- Add a new transaction on the go (if you go out and purchase something, it will allow you to capture it in Quicken Online from your mobile phone)
As you're trying out this new functionality, please feel free to provide feedback or bugs on this thread. We realize there are a lot of different mobile phones out there, so while we've tested on as many phones as possible, we want to make sure the site works for as many people as possible.
We look forward to your feedback! Stay tuned, we'll have some more new mobile features and budgeting coming in a few weeks.
Thanks! Barron Ernst Quicken Online Product Manager

I can login to Quicken Online Mobile on my Blackberry, but I do not see any balances or transactions. When I access the site on my computer however, it works fine. Any reason?

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You,
This is what I have been waiting for..
I was getting tired of having to go home to input my transactions through my home computer.
This saves quite a bit of time for me..I can see in an instint what my realbalance is on my palm centro.
I came just in time because i do not have to cancel my cell phone serve provider which I've have for over ten years.

Hey guys,
I have to say that while using an iPhone to access my account through the safari web browser, it is just terrible.
I know you are testing things out, but my accounts are listed in a different order than when I access it through my computer, so that throws me off. Then there is not a grand total of all my accounts, and there are no graphs and such.
I can see the benefit to add a transaction while out shopping, but the overall feel of the mobile site is just clunky and ugly.
I hope you are working on a native application for the iPhone, because accessing the site through safari is just not happening.
I would definitely agree with this! Quicken on the iPhone is a very exciting announcement and has great potential. However, right now, I actually find it easier to use the generic mobile browser as opposed to the iPhone specific browser. I can't even add transactions through the iPhone browser! I have to go to the mobile site. Please continue to work on improving the Quicken iPhone site as it has the potential to be VERY useful!

I reported this over a month ago, but it's still not working.
When using Pocket IE from a Windows Mobile device, there is no submit button when trying to add a transaction. I have tried on a Palm Treo 800w and an HTC mogul, both are running Windows Mobile 6.1.
It will work with the Opera browser, but this is not a free browser and is slow and akward to use. It also worked on the Blackberry that I tried.

I like using Quicken Online on my iPhone, but I've found that I've been using it less and less because it's a little cumbersome. As in I haven't used it for months.
Entering transactions is quick and easy enough, it's the login that takes forever whether or not I'm connected via Wifi or not.
I have to enter my username (first.last@gmail.com, a long e-mail address), then PW, then answer the security question. Typing in the username each time is a bit of a pain. Also just waiting for these pages to load is painfully slow regardless of how I'm connected to the Internet.
What would be really nice (hint hint) . . .
A native iPhone app you could pull up quickly, authenticate using a PIN, enter transactions quickly and be out. The new transactions would be stored locally on the phone and could be uploaded by pressing a button within the app. This, of course, would trigger you to enter your credentials (saving the username, of course). And a little bit of a wait once, at the end of the day, to upload 5 or 6 spaced out transaction is much better than having to go through the entire process 5 or 6 separate times throughout the day.
I would be willing to pay for such an app, in addition to the monthly $2 fee.
Then synching to full Quicken would be AWSOME. But I'm not asking for much. =o)
I am having the same problem with m.quicken.com. Who did the QA for this service? What a chop job! I'm using an XV6900 from Verizon Wireless with Windows Mobile 6.0 OS.
I used to be able to login using my Blackberry Storm, but now it just keeps saying invalid login attempt, and you must be logged in to view this page. Sucks, cause I left finicity for Quicken Online due to the mobile access bonus (finicity's mobile access didn't work on Blackberrys at all), and ironically, as soon as I cancel my membership, I can't access on my Storm. Ugh. I just need a financial assistance package (free or paid) that will allow me to keep up on my accounts, etc. That so hard?? lol
For some reason, I can't log on on my iPhone either. When I try m.quicken.com, I get a message that says "Invalid Login attempt" and when I try the full website, it asks me for billing information. What gives?
Also, I agree that an iPhone app is an absolute must for Quicken Online to reach its potential. While I love the fact that iPhones have Safari, it's too slow and cumbersome for something like this. It would take forever to pull it up, log on, wait for the page to load, etc. before I could input a transaction. There are tons of budget apps out there that are GREAT for quickly inputting transactions and keeping up to date on the go, but if Quicken were to make an app, it would crush them all, because of Quicken's other features.

most recently, the "account" dropdown has shortened with no visible choices within, both from my Ipaq ie, opera, and iris browsers. Also on my wife's blackberry. If you continue, you get the message that the date is required.
That is the problem my wife and I are both having as well. She has an I-Phone and I have a Blackberry Bold. When either of us try to enter transactions on our respective phone, it tells us we need to enter a date -- even though the date is automatically there already. I have tried manually filling in the date, but the same message comes up. Very frustrating considering it takes SOOO long to get to that screen in the first place.

I have been having the same problems with the "Add Trans" page from my HTC 8525. My account list does not show up. Then it asks for the date to not be empty even though it is auto populated when I try to submit the transaction.

Please stop forcing us iPhone users to use the mobile platform. Give us a link to the regular site. I can't update or delete account information and quicken online has the wrong pin for my accounts causing my USAA accounts to be locked as a result of multiple failed pin attempts every time quiken online chimes in.
It's nice and all that you made a mobile site but please don't force feed it to me.
Also the functionality IMO is poor. It's to simple and dumbed down. When I'm looking at 15 accounts on one page in all text and no tables or other forms of organization it's to much to wrap my head around. Also would be nice to see graphs or some kind of imagery and a tabular format displaying the full budget available. See mint.com's app.

Why are we Blackberry Storm users always last to get an app.? Storm out sold the iphone last quarter, but everything is always directed to the iphone. Hey guys, we Storm people are growing in numbers day by day. How about a direct link to Quicken online? I already own Quicken 9 for my desktop.

I just downloaded the Quicken Mobile app to my iPhone. I have a couple of questions:
1) Is there a tutorial that explains stuff like where the numbers come from, how often are they updated, why is it projecting payments that I am not planning to make, etc.
2) My bank balance (according to Chase's website and my PC Quicken program is one thing, but what's showing on my iPhone is wildly different. Why?
3) Does this program require that I post purchases and payments to the iPhone and "sync" it to my PC?? God forbid that!! I post from receipts to the big keyboard.
That's about it. A tutorial would really be helpful.
