Dear Barron and Quicken Team,
As a user of the Quicken Online product, I am very interested to know when we might be expecting some of the new features we're all dying to have! I think we can all agree that Quicken Online could use improvement, and it'd be great to know when it's coming...

Some of the features I'd love to see are:

SPLIT TRANSACTIONS - Help us categorize our transactions more accurately

SUB-CATEGORIES - Let us find out how much we are spending in Auto, then drill down and find out how much on gas alone!

IMPROVED BUDGETING - Make it easier to see when we overspend in a category, integrate more tightly with the rest of Quicken Online

Any ETA you could give on these, we'd love to see.

I know in the past that you've mentioned that work is being done on the mobile version of the application...that's great, but let's first make the full online version as great as it can be. I am sure more users use the online version than the mobile version, so let's shore up the online version first!

Thanks!

Those are the exact features I would like to see! Sub-categories and splitting transactions.

No need to use the mobile version if I am not satisfied with the core version!

SPLIT TRANSACTIONS & SUB-CATEGORIES- everyone is agreed.
However the most important feature is product support, which seems to be running customers off at present. A small fee for the online service would be much more favorable than lack of support.

Reading the most recent postings is like watching customers (with money in hand) walk out of the Quicken store.

I am a new user of Quicken online. I used to have Quicken for my pc but switched to a Mac and was delighted when i found Quicken online. I love it and the only problem with it is there are no SPLITS! I hope this comes in soon. Does anyone actually reply to these posts?

Yes to Split Transactions! Equally important to budgeting in Quicken online is the ability to see the AVERAGE of income/expenses in "Trends" over ANY time period, not just 3 months or less. I really really want the chart that shows my balance to show more than 2 pay periods!! What is the deal with limiting the time frames on all these features??? Also, the ability to rollover any extra money from a budget category to the next month, OR to assign a specific time period for the money in a budgeted category would be an incredibly helpful feature. If you have a large insurance payment once a year, you want to make sure you have the money set aside for it (budget for it). Sure, you can get an envelope and put the cash aside, but if we wanted to do this stuff manually we wouldn't be using quicken. :)
