I’m happy to report that the migration to the new portfolio system is complete.This new system applies to Quicken Windows 2006, 2007 and 2008.
If you want more information about this transition, or if you are experiencing any issues with the new portfolio, please post them in the thread here. This will keep all of the issues in one place, which means we can gather and fix them a lot sooner--

Just to be clear: NO quotes are updating. Not mutural funds, or stocks of ANY description.

The Quicken Help page says:
"We are in the process of completing the upgrade to the new Quicken.com Investing Center. These current issues are being researched by our Development Team, and a resolution will be provided soon.
Performance data is not downloading for little traded securities such as OTC stocks...."

This is NOT correct. NOTHING is updating from the "UPDATE QUOTES" link.Last time this happened, it took a LOT of threats of leaving Quicken an(and many actually doing so) before adequate resources from Quicken were applied to the task.

Does anybody know the anticipated date of resolution. I have opted not to update my prices until it is resolved... I don't have time to download other programs, patch, etc/ I have used Quicken products since 1994.... dont want to leave, but this is the pits

I do this daily.
I don't travel much besides the occasional vacation...so I haven't run into that problem yet.
I'm not sure how you would get old quotes using NetStock.

Don't even get me started. It happened to my on-screen cable guide last month and I've been just as irritated with them. At least Quicken is responding. Not so with the cable company.

afraid - heck I was really rich for a couple of days :)
silent - yup, they laid off 7% of their workforce...
and when I mailed letters last summer to complain about the Alerts & News going away from the Quicken program for months at a time -
their response - handed down to "tech support" for followup

I am unable to update my investments. I keep getting the statement "server not responding, please try again later". This started 9/1 and is continuing today. Any suggestions? My last update was 8/22 and it was ok.

In the past Intuit normally responds.
1. Ask the users to post specific problems (i.e ticker symbols) like there is one or two symbols bad or one or two users.
2. Then they go silent
3. Then they announce that is a problem with one of their date providers and it will take 2,3,?? months to resolve
4. Then they go silent
5. THey announce everything is fixed
6. When the users point out that it is not fixed. They go back to step 1 above

One other clarification, please. Under File>Import...I do not see an option for the .txt file. Do you select the QIF File option and just select the .txt file you saved?
